The Barn is primarily intended for undergraduate student-centered social events. Events hosted by undergraduate student organizations and University departmental events with undergraduate students as the primary attendees are able to reserve The Barn without paying rental fees.
Graduate students are permitted to reserve The Barn after the undergraduate lottery reservation system is complete. Since The Barn is funded through the Undergraduate Student Activity Fee, there is a fee for graduate students to use the space. Graduate Students/Groups should refer to the guidelines for student events for policy information.
Base Rental Fees for Graduate Student Groups
Half Day Reservation (less than 6 hours): $250
Full Day Reservation (more than 6 hours until midnight): $500
University departments hosting non-student-oriented events may reserve The Barn during academic breaks.
Base Rental Fees for Reynolda Campus Departments
Half Day Reservation (less than 6 hours): $350
Full Day Reservation (more than 6 hours until midnight): $700
External groups may request the use of the Barn for events such as wedding receptions and parties, however these requests are only accepted for events taking place during the months of June and July. During the rest of the year, the Barn is reserved for the use of Reynolda Campus student groups and university departments.

Full Day Reservation (6-12 hours): $1100
